The Avengers: Teaser Trailer
Spoiler alert! This appears at the end of the credits of Captain America: The First Avenger. Don’t worry, it doesn’t ruin anything in the Captain America film. It’s purely a short for the forthcoming Avengers movie due to be released in mid 2012. If you ask me this is pretty cool for 14 seconds of footage.

Re-Animator
Along with the three Evil Dead films, Re-Animator is one of my all time favorite horror flicks. It’s straight out of the 80’s and boy do I love it. It spawned two sequels, Bride Of Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator.              Watch the trailer here:

Sillof's Workshop: Serial Wars
Below are pictures from a website called Sillof’s Workshop. Most of the site is full of pictures of his custom models and toys which are based on the Star Wars universe but put to a theme not necessarily based on science fiction. Some of the themes include Stream Wars, Noir Wars, West Wars, Samurai Wars and World Wars. The pictures below are taken from my favourite, Serial Wars.  In...

The Evil Dead Reborn
A few weeks back I did a post on some Star Wars posters done by artist Olly Moss. I’m really into his work and you can check out his website here. Here is a poster he did for another of my all time favorite films, The Evil Dead. Dig it.

I love this poster
I really love this poster. For years it has been my dream to own a massive copy of it framed, hanging on my wall. Sadly they’re quite rare and thus quite expensive and hard to find. One day though. One day.

Amazing Spider-Man Fails
This is a video of random clips from the late 60’s Spider-Man cartoon. Looks like Spidey was a bit of a tripper back then.

The Best Super Power (Is Not What You Think)
After Hours is another one of my favourite web series. It’s just three dudes and a chick sitting in a diner talking about nerdy pop culture. They’re the kind of conversations I have with friends from time to time but these guys go so much deeper. For the record my superpower would be teleportation.

The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer
This is the teaser trailer to The Dark Knight Rises, the new Batman film. Personally I was a little disappointed with this trailer. I’m not sure if that’s because it’s not that great or because I saw this trailer first: This is just a fan made trailer but when I saw it I was fooled into thinking it was real. I think it looks better than the official teaser....

This is seriously weird.
This is a Japanese commercial from 1978 that seems to be advertising tuna. It’s Star Wars themed for seemingly no reason at all and is bizarrely funny. I love that Chewbacca sounds like a monkey and kind of acts like one too.

How It Should Have Ended
This is one of my favourite web series. And of the series my favourite episodes are the ones about Superheroes because they always end with Superman and Batman (and sometimes more) talking shit in a diner afterwards.

Biff Says: Shut Up
Remember Biff from Back To The Future? Well so do a lot of people. And they all like to ask him the same questions. He’s a stand up comedian now and wrote this song to answer everyones questions once and for all.

The Amazing Spider-Man
So here is the teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-man movie set  to come out next year. I think it looks pretty good but I’m concerned Andrew Garfield is way too pretty to play Peter Parker. Massive props to him for this though. I have high hopes for this film. I loved the Sam Raimi directed Spidey films and I was a big fan of the cast he put together for them. How...

Look familiar?
This is the new building for Lucasfilm Animation, the company that brought us The Clone Wars animated series. Based in Singapore, the eight story building is set to open in 2012 and is decked out with state of the art production facilities and a 100 seat theatre.  Oh and did I mention it looks like the Jawas sandcrawler from A New Hope? I’m hoping Lucas doesn’t stop here. I want...
